GoPro Hero6 Black Review
The Hero6 is an excellent action camera, a true class-leading flagship and a significant refinement of the Hero5. But getting back to the question of whether or not it is worth $500. In an ideal world, we would have seen the Hero6 introduced at $400 and the Hero5 would have dropped to $300.
Pros:
- Excellent electronic image stabilization
- 4K/60 and 1080p/240
- Improved dynamic range and color
- Great mobile app
- Refined
- if familiar
- design
Cons:
- HEVC video is very demanding

GoPro Hero 6 Black review
Last year GoPro unveiled the Hero 5 range which brought huge design changes – such as a waterproof body – and image quality upgrades in the form of video stabilisation.

GoPro Hero 6 Black review
A review of the GoPro Hero 6 Black, an action camera that can record 4K at 60 frames per second. It's also waterproof and can be controlled by your voice.

GoPro Hero 6 Black review: The Hero returns with a new soul
The name ‘GoPro' is generally associated with one thing - adventure and action cameras. If you are an adventure seeker, then a GoPro should be your must-have third eye. Recording the most thrilling moments of your life from a fisheye perspective and sharing it with the world is a great type of...

GoPro Hero6 Black review: is more power everything
The GoPro Hero6 Black is undoubtedly the most powerful action camera the company has created yet, but it's also the most expensive and still has a few areas, like compatibility, price and stabilisation, left to improve on.
Pros:
- Higher frame rates
- Still waterproof to 10 metres without a case
- 5GHz Wi-Fi for faster transfers
Cons:
- Expensive
- HEVC codec not compatible on all devices
- Low light shots still suffer

GoPro Hero 6 Black: The best action camera – but pricey
GoPro has ruled the roost in the action camera for an age, but with improving smartphone cameras and waterproofing, the reasons for buying one are falling by the day. Why spend over £400 on a separate camera when your phone can shoot video that's nearly as good and that you can take out and about in...
Pros:
- 4K video recording at 60fps
- Great image stabilisation
- Same excellent design as Hero 5
Cons:
- Much more expensive than Hero 5
- Poor image quality in low light
- App needs polish

The Hero 6 Black is an accomplished action camera, and the best on the market in my opinion, but there are a couple of serious issues that prevent it from gaining my wholehearted recommendation. The first is the price. Even though it's £100 cheaper than the original, £399 is still too much.

The touch screen function of this GoPro edition is really handy. Battery life pretty fair, could last half a day recording videos. No accessories apart from the sticky clips that you could stick to a helmet or any flat surface.

GoPro 6
Best GoPro to date. The images are crisp and vibrant. Battery life OK but not great. Lovley menus and lots of options to make the most of the great footage. A great upgrade from the 4 but perhaps not from the 5 as fairly expensive still.

Video is great but audio is terrible
I got the camera in great shape and it works flawlessly. My only gripe is that audio is the worst. Iu2019ve read many things about how about the audio is but until you hear for yourself you you wonu2019t fully understand.
