GoPro Hero6 Review: The Best Action Camera
GoPro has made some marked improvements with its latest action camera, the $499 Hero6 Black. While the outside looks almost identical to its predecessor, a faster processor inside means you can record 4K video at 60 frames per second (fps) and shoot slo-mo 1080p video at 240 fps.

Best on the market
I require a action camera to film skydiving activities. After extensive research the go pro6 came up the best but the then price of ￡499 was off putting but the day after reduced to ￡399 so it was a no brainier. Image stability is amazing Video quality and sharpness does everything I need and more.

great for diving
I bought it to record my diving performance so I purchased supersuite and red filter as well. I have to say the video is great!

The Key is to Accept it's Limitations
I intend to use this while flying an airplane and riding a motorcycle. For me, the principal limitations are abysmal low light performance, unacceptable sound quality and understandably limited battery life.

Great quality drone and hero 6 camera is amazing quality ...
"Great quality drone and hero 6 camera is amazing quality for both HD and 4k video. Drone flies well and has got a decent range and lots of good auto features to help fly it. Highly recommend to anyone who has a gopro camera or is looking to get one.

The Hero 6 Black is an accomplished action camera, and the best on the market in my opinion, but there are a couple of serious issues that prevent it from gaining my wholehearted recommendation. The first is the price. Even though it's £100 cheaper than the original, £399 is still too much.

Dissapointed
Purchased GoPro Hero 6 as Christmas present for my son. First was returned because of faulty battery cover. The replacement will not charge, this was returned and the third camera is also not charging.

GoPro Hero 6 Black: The best action camera – but pricey
GoPro has ruled the roost in the action camera for an age, but with improving smartphone cameras and waterproofing, the reasons for buying one are falling by the day. Why spend over £400 on a separate camera when your phone can shoot video that's nearly as good and that you can take out and about in...
Pros:

- Great image stabilisation
- Same excellent design as Hero 5
Cons:
- Much more expensive than Hero 5
- Poor image quality in low light
- App needs polish
