Not much of an improvement
I brought this just over a month ago. Colored feature is difficult to see at times. The wifi connection drops out frequently with Samsung phone. Difficult to retrieve information. Not accurate with steps and info. Would have rated higher otherwise.

Garmin Vivofit 4 – 12 months battery life (review)
I love fitness trackers – I hate charging them every day. Garmin's new Vivofit 4 has 2 x SR43 coin batteries that in theory will last over a year. Alas, testing cannot confirm that. Ray Shaw [email protected] has a passion for IT ever since building his first computer in 1980.
Pros:
- Basic fitness tracker with a one-year battery life
Cons:
- Dull screen

Garmin Vivofit 4 review
Garmin's most basic fitness tracker is back for a fourth edition with the – you guessed it – Vivofit 4. This sits at the very opposite end of the range to the Fenix series, Garmin's expensive, feature-packed sports watches.
Pros:
- Hits most of the basics well
- Year-long battery life
- Automatic exercise detection
Cons:
- Not much of a looker
- Lacks GPS and HR sensors
- Running accuracy not perfect

Garmin is one of our favorites when it comes to fitness trackers. They tend to put out quality products, including their vívofit activity trackers, which seem to be their answer to the Fitbit Alta or Misfit Shine.

- Simple
- durable
- easy to use
- Improved display
- Affordable price point
- 1-year battery life
- Waterproof
Cons:
- Does not pair with ANT+ HRMs
- Data tracking is not perfectly accurate
- No wrist HRM
- No smart notifications

Garmin Vivofit 4 review
The Vivofit 4 is in a difficult market to compete in with stiff competition from the likes of Huawei, Moov and many more firms. But it's a generally good device and while it is missing some features we'd like to see on your wrist, if you're looking for a basic tracker it's likely this will make you...
Pros:
- Incredible battery life
- A color screen
- Low price
Cons:
- No GPS or heart rate
- Lacks phone notifications
- Sometimes difficult interface

Garmin Vivofit 4 Review
The Garmin Vivofit 4 is the newest device in the Vivofit line of popular fitness trackers. The Vivofit line is known for its small size and easy to understand interface. It doesn't try to go overboard and become a smartwatch but accomplishes the basic goals of a fitness tracker.
