Final Fantasy Type-0's gritty tone and fast action is a welcome change of pace.
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Review
If I was to score the game purely based on its individual mechanics, it would probably score less than what I decided to give it. However, my long hours spent with the game never wore me out.

Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Review
Final Fantasy Type-0 made its debut in Japan nearly three and a half years ago, exclusively for the PlayStation Portable, but showed absolutely no signs of- Beautifully overhauled visuals and audio
- Fast-paced action gameplay
- Mature story and setting full of mystery and intrigue
- 14 distinct playable characters
- each with unique weapons
- Held back by portable roots
- Camera can sometimes get very jerky in combat
"Fantastic"
Good old final fantasy with a bit more realism
More capes, darling!
Impressive effort with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth most people's time and cash.
Game Review: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD [PS4/XboxOne]
Final Fantasy Type-0 HD is the most fun I've had with a JRPG in years. I feel it's important to start with that statement as talking about its flaws, which there are quite a few, may make you think it's not worth your time.- Superb combat
- Perfect for gamers that lack time
- Lots to do
- New Game + works well
- Awful English dub
- Quest system should be better
- Port feels a bit half hearted in places
- Graphically poor
- World map broken up by load screens
Type-0's gritty tone, fast-paced action, and strategic approach to time management is a welcome change of pace from the usual FF
The war-torn land of Orience is the setting of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, a remastering of the Japanese PlayStation Portable blockbuster from 2011 and one of the most wanted games for Final Fantasy fans.
Its not that bad
I bought this and it had minimal blood only words like damn. And if you don't want your kids playing shooting games only one (non-likable) character has a gun. This game is pretty much about a class of military students from a class named class zero and they are in war
