It's been a rough year for Ubisoft, with nasty bugs cropping up in their flagship franchise's latest sequel, Assassin's Creed Unity, as well as the lukewarm reception for new properties like Watch Dogs and The Crew.

There truly is nothing quite like Far Cry. The sandbox shooter series has seen random tourists become Rambo-like killing machines that tear a bloody path across tropical locals, and this latest addition to the series continues that trend.
Far Cry 4 certainly features a lot to love, but Ubi's continued buffet-style approach to content has the game wearing out its welcome far earlier than it should. While each of Ubisoft's previous sandbox shooters has felt like a reinvention of the franchise, this year's offering hews so close to the structure of Far Cry 3 that it sometimes feels like a re-skin. But does it really matter when the end result is this much fun?
Great game, deserves 5 stars but what can only be described as dishonest marketing by Zavvi loses it 2 stars. The cover art shows the limited edition but Zavvi will only supply the standard version. Will definitely make me wary about shopping with them again.
