Review: Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze is a Retro game in every sense
Conventional mechanics presented with contemporary flash: Tropical Freeze expertly blends spectacle, set-pieces and classic platforming.
Pros:
- Might be Wii U's best-looking game
- Wonderful David Wise soundtrack
- Challenging in all the right ways..
Cons:
- ...but occasionally the wrong ones
- Still quite conservative in its design

Great Game - traditional Mario/Donkey Kong Style
I'm a big fan of Mario and Donkey Kong games and this one doesn't disappoint. The action and new characters are entertaining.

Fun and challenging!
Donkey Kong returns.. again! Tropical Freeze delivers a great challenging and fun (co-op) game on the Wii U. There are a ton of collectibles, making this game fun as well as hard if you want to collect everything.
Pros:
- A Lot Of Collectibles
- Challenging
- Co-op
Cons:
- Controls Are A Bit Hard

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze
If Mario platformers are an acid trip in a playground, then Donkey Kong is on speed in a death trap. But it's the good kind of speed that makes you feel invincible until that final fatal moment, wherein you restart the level and subject yourself again with a manic smile on your face.
