Brilliant game, a great blast from the past and really well updated

In the same way that the 1999 original made me grin from ear to ear, Crash Team Racing Nitro-Fueled is not just a wonderful re-imagining of a classic, but a legitimately great time.

Bought The PS4 and the Xbox1 games for two of my Daughters. And we are talking Adults. They both love the game, and are having hours of fun.

Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled is an excellent remake of a kart-racing classic, potentially introducing the beloved PS1 mascot to an entire new generation of players. However, this might be a little too difficult for younger gamers, so they might want to jump on easy mode.

Crash Team Racing was always very derivative; Track design is never as inspired as Nintendo's best and the gameplay never quite as accessible; 30fps visuals and online player limits are a shame

Crash Bandicoot's time away from the spotlight also meant he spent time away from the stoplight. His post-PS1 descent into obscurity meant that most players weren't as likely to remember that the famed bandicoot was also as strong behind the wheel as he was behind a pair of platforming jorts.

It's standard issue cart racing. weapons, cutesie characters and various tracks set in cartoon environments with hazards and speed boosts. Our problem with this game is HOW you boost and the uncomfortable control layout, and even with a second control layout option, neither works well.
