PC gaming lives at the cutting edge, but let's face it, sometimes it's nice to kick back on the couch to enjoy a game. Not long ago, we were stuck with controllers or draping long wires across our floors, but as technology has advanced, those compromises are becoming a thing of the past.
I was looking for a wireless mechanical keyboard and came across this at microcenter. After realizing there were not many options, I purchased this after confirming the return policy. I updated the keyboard (need icue software), and used it for a day. I immediately fell in love with it.
Great looks and perfomance to match
Corsair's K63 Wireless keyboard, Dark Core RGB SE gaming mouse, MM1000 mouse pad, and the K63 Lapboard promise to work together as a complete setup for the gamer who wants to bring the PC gaming experience out of the office and into the living room and back again.
Slimmed down and wire-free, Corsair's new Gaming Lapboard is what the oversized Lapdog should've been all along: Excellent for living room gaming,...
Makes living room gaming easy; Less expensive and overengineered than the original Corsair Lapdog; Comfortable for long hours at a time
Needs a K63 to function; No other keyboard will do, Also needs a wireless mouse and headset; No passthrough, Still a bit bulky
There have been two major changes to the way that gaming works that have enabled it to be freed from the office or a dark corner of the bedroom and into the lounge as a viable gaming choice.
And here's the clincher: The price ain't too bad either. If we assume that the standard asking price for a wired, single-color backlit keyboard these days is around $70 to 80, Corsair asking $110 (currently $100 on Amazon ) for a wireless version seems surprisingly reasonable.
Great feeling laptop. No delay on Bluetooth wireless. Is great with the matching lap board.
Corsair K63 Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Corsair recently expanded their already extensive lineup of mechanical keyboards with the K63 Wireless, which is one of the only tenkeyless keyboards on the market to offer Genuine Cherry MX switches along with a low latency 2.4GHz wireless connection.
