I sometime wish I had gotten the version of this keyboard with the brown MX Cherry key switches..... but I not having any real issues getting used to the lighter touch with this one which has the red MX Cherry key switches.

When we tested the Vengeance series keyboards initially, we were impressed. The same sentiment applied to the K90 and the K70 again is a product that brings a smile to my face. The Corsair Vengeance K95 however is not a completely new design keyboard though, it's the evolution of the Vengeance...

Last year, Corsair released the Vengeance K90 as one of two new keyboards. It was a big gamble for Corsair entering the crowded gaming peripheral market for the first time, electing to jump in with mechanical keyboards with the K90 being a very expensive keyboard.

Its a beautiful keyboard! I love the feel of it, don't want or need the G keys, but the G70 seems the palm rest isn't wide enough, the palm rest is a weird soft coating, actually feels quite nice. I prefer the red switches, altho still a bit loud, have ordered some o-rings, just more added expense.

Mechanical keys are expensive and loud

The K95 keyboard was built on the solid platform the K90 had but with some important and eye-candy additions like fully mechanical layout which integrates MX Red switches from Cherry or key-by-key customizable backlighting.

-aluminium backplate is a bit of a "fingerprint magnet," as one other user stated, but, as he also stated, it can easily be wiped clean with a cloth and a bit of denatured alcohol; personally, it's not much of a problem
