We review Canon's all-in-one zoom for the EOS R series

the metrics were attractive but in practice the colors and Brighness suffered compared to the L series lenses. Call me spoiled but there is a real difference in quality

The Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM Superzoom Lens' headlining feature is its focal length range. The 10x zoom range makes this lens an ideal solution to a wide range of photography needs with travel perhaps being at the top of the list.

Covering the longest zoom range yet for Canon's EOS R-series cameras, it's remarkable for the resolution it achieves for its range, size and price.

As with most superzooms, you'll want to keep the various lens corrections enabled to iron out this Canon's optical shortcomings, but the core of the 24-240mm is solid: sharp images, very effective image stabilization and fast focus make it a winner.

Although I’ve been able to shoot with the Canon RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM, it was an early sample and I’m not able to share any images here. However, I’m impressed with the build quality of the lens.
