Stunning results at the first two events I used it at. Went from EOS V Mk II to EOS V Mk IV and can get more keepers and use far higher ISO values at low light non-flash indoor venues. I am very happy with my purchase and have no reservations in recommending it.

This camera is everything the Mk III should have been but wasn't; The autofocus is straight out of the 1D-X Mk II and performs brilliantly, coupled with 7 fps you never miss a shot.
I'll start off by mentioning the Focus System. Although it has 61 focus points, 41 being cross type, like the 5D Mark iii, it is not the same focus system merely spread out more and rated at lower light levels. It's a far more intelligent system, the same one that's in the 1DX Mark ii.
I debated for years getting a 5D series Canon, but I finally took the plunge with the Mark IV. And I wish I had done it earlier. True to form Canon don't do really well with instructions or guides, but there are plenty of valuable online resources.
I received a grey market camera with a different charger then the Canadian versions. It was also an open box that originally came with the kit lens. No warranty card came with the camera. I promptly returned the item.
