I would have given the printer 5 stars, I've had it some weeks now and it's great. What spoilt things a bit was that it comes with no USB cable, which you need to use it. It's not made obvious by Harvey Norman or on the packaging that it is sold without a cable that is vital for you to have in order...
While multifunction capabilities and various bells & whistle features have their obvious appeal when considering a new printer purchase, the needs of some users can be satisfied with basis printing operations in monochrome.
Easy to install, great results. Nothing more to say, just trying to reach 100 characters so I can finish this review
Gone may be the days when you couldn't find a laser printers for much under £300. Even so, the £59 Brother HL-1110 looks astonishingly affordable even by today's standards. That's doubly so given that the latter is actually a rather smart little device.
The Brother HL-1110 is a very reliable mono laser printer for an extremely low price point. Read our Brother HL-1110 review to find out more.
You aren't going to be using the Brother for massive quantities of printing. Neither is it overladen with features. But for the occasional text print job, it'll prove a very willing accomplice. You're getting a very reliable model for an extremely low price point, and that makes it a highly commendable no-frills choice.
Many people think the only low cost printers are inkjets, but an entry-level laser printer needn't cost you more than £60. This is the price point of Brother's HL-1110, intended as a personal laser printer for home or student.
Economy from separate toner cartridge; Good speed for size; Guidance for 2-sided/booklet print
No high-yield toner option; Noisy when printing; No paper tray cover
