Great sounding unit. A very big and full sound from such a compact device. Easy to connect and the battery lasts a very long time. Very happy.
I was surprised after unpacking this that it was so small: you could fit it inside a decent-sized hollowed out aubergine. But the sound was fantastic. I have excellent if not top end hifi: Cyrus, Roksan etc, so I'm comparing with good stuff.
I received this speaker a gift for Christmas and it sounds wonderful (have an older version at home). After 6 months of use - the battery level would never charge back to 100% (I never took it off the base because it just sat in my office).
Warning: Understand before you buy that just because this product has "sound link" in its name does not mean that it actually links with similarly named Bose products. You won't find out that your sound link II compact speaker can't be linked to this speaker until you download the Bose app to find...
I've had this speaker for around 3 years and have really enjoyed it. The sound quality is good, good bass and it goes pretty loud. I did find that it wasn't loud enough to be heard properly at full volume over a room of about 10 people at a party but for everyday use it's been plenty loud enough.
I purchased the Bose SoundLink Mini II for its portability for travelling. On testing the unit in the house through my iPad, I found the sound to be amazing quality.
