I bought two of these to use in 'stereo mode' on my recumbent bicycle after doing a whole heap of research and shopping around. When they work, they're fantastic. The sound quality is awesome from such a small device. Base is surprisingly plentiful.

Great sound in a compact package. Will be nice for taking along, but as of now I'll pick up the Sony Xtra Bass bluetooth speaker before this. However, the sound is great and it is super portable, so I really can't say anything about it. The Sony is heavier and bulkier, so not nearly as portable.
Portability, durability, and functionality are salient features of the Micro, for a price.
Loops onto anything; IPX7-certified; Portable and durable; Multiconnect; Loud
Sub-par battery life; Latency issues; Sound degrades beyond 60% volume
Bose SoundLink Micro is a compact and lightweight portable speaker with the power to deliver sound, perfect for outdoor adventures and occasions. Its rugged and waterproof design makes it a bliss to carry without having to worry if it ever drops to a swimming pool during a party, or when the storm...
As the name implies, the Bose SoundLink Micro Bluetooth speaker is quite small. Its $109.95 price might therefore come as a surprise—the comparably sized JBL Clip 2, for instance, costs less than half that amount. Meanwhile, several speakers in the $100 to $150 range deliver more power and better sound quality—albeit in a larger form factor. It's a common conundrum with Bose—we love the speaker, but not the price. Regardless of how much it costs, though, the SoundLink Micro sounds great and is surprisingly powerful for its size. Design Measuring 3.9 by 3.9 by 1.4 inches (HWD) and weighing in at about 10.2 ounces, the SoundLink Micro is pretty tiny. The speaker is available in black, blue, or orange, and its rounded contour is covered in matte, water-resistant silicone rubber. Its IPX7 rating means it can be immersed in water up to one meter deep for up to 30 minutes, making it a solid poolside companion and a good choice for the outdoors in the general. The speaker is designed to ...
The Bose SoundLink Micro speaker delivers an impressive Bluetooth audio performance for its size, but its price feels a tad high.
Strong audio performance, with rich lows and well-defined highs; Waterproof; Good speakerphone mic
A little overpriced; No aux input
The Bose SoundLink Micro isn't exactly the cheapest Bluetooth speaker, but its portability, good sound, and durability almost justify the price tag.
Extremely portable; Rubber finish provides a durable build; IPX7 water resistant; Big bass output
No fast charging; Weak battery life; Price for what you get
Great sound for a small speaker, but the short battery life feels limiting in something so portable
Good sound quality; completely waterproof; lightweight and portable
Short battery life
The pitch for the latest addition to Bose's portable SoundLink sub brand isn't too complicated. In essence, it's pretty much the same pitch found in all Bose speakers. It's portable audio - done by the experts and made easy.
Low battery life; Weak bass
Inexpensive; Good form-factor
Bluetooth speakers come in all shapes and sizes, but the Bose SoundLink Micro is more than a little unusual. It's a square-shaped, rubberised speaker about the size of your palm, has soft, rounded corners and edges, and is designed for those who want to take their music on-the-go.
Ruggedised and portable design; Multifunctional voice-assistant button
Terrible sound quality; Doesn't float; Dubious strap
It’s small, it’s cute and it’s rugged, but the Bose SoundLink Micro isn’t the best sounding tough speaker around
Ruggedised and portable design; Multifunctional voice-assistant button;
Terrible sound quality; Doesn't float; Dubious strap;
