Great product with one flaw

Preordered and received them sooner than expected. These ear buds are truly amazing, but can’t say they are perfect. Pros: Amazing sound quality Outstanding noise cancelling Comfortable for all day wear Long battery life Cons: Only one in my opinion. When using them on phone calls, people on the receiving end of my call can hear all of my background noise, and it’s so loud that they can’t stay on the call for too long. Is their a software patch for this issue. All in all they are great ear buds for listening to music, podcasts but not so good with phone calls.

Bose deliver great value at sale price of $299

Top quality product but requires newish Android or Apple phone to set up features. Comforrtable to wear and faultless 5G. Great for use on the move. Depeding on source you may find the sound volume not quite loud enough but audio quality is very good if you like Bose sound. Overall I rate my QC35II slightly better for noise cancelling but they are over ear and more bulky headphones. However, for great noisefree sound on the move I can thoroughly recommend the Bose QC 700 earbuds.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - SoapStone 831262-0020 review

The Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are a great do-it-all option for anyone, so long as you can afford it. These are a great alternative to the Apple AirPods Pro and Sony WF-1000XM3. You can choose the degree of noise cancelling, and enjoy premium features like automatic ear-detection.

Active noise cancelling; IPX4 rating; Comfortable fit; Bluetooth 5.1; Battery life; fast charging; USB-C and wireless charging; Sidetone audio during phone calls; Mono listening (right bud only); Auto play/pause

SBC and AAC; no aptX or Bluetooth multipoint; Bose Music app required to switch between devices; Lacks in-app EQ; Bulky; Price

These buds excel with their many Active Noise Cancellation features, but that's about it

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - SoapStone review

While the sound, case, charging, and fit are all decent, the controls are woefully lacking. The volume, stop / pause / answer are all controlled by gestures in the right earbud but the gestures controlled by the left earbud forward / back for selections, need to be selected in the app prior to using .. so if I’m riding my bike while listening, I actually need to pull out my mobile device and select or change the left (forward or reverse) gesture prior to using it ; this is just STUPID. I actually returned another Bose wave speaker for a similar reason (the app never worked correctly) The app for the earbuds works but it’s a dumb design

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - SoapStone 831262-0020 review

When it comes to noise cancellation, the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds outshines every wireless earbud model out there. Bose set its sights on creating the best noise-cancelling experience in the true wireless space, and the QuietComfort Earbuds accomplish this with gusto.

Superb active noise cancellation, Warm, rich sound quality, Transparency mode blends with ANC, Excellent mics for calls and digital assistant use, Instant connectivity

Disappointing battery life, Bulky and heavy

Very difficult to use

I've already discouraged 3 people from buying these . I am constantly required to reconnect with my devices; the bluetooth function only permits one device at a time. So if you're connected to your phone and want to use them on your tablet, you must physically disconnect from the phone 1st. If it's nearby great; if it's not you need to get and disconnect before you can use it on your device.... over and over again. It is quite inconvenient and time consuming. There is very little product support as well. I'm referred to product help but it doesn't work unless I'm connected. If you have a fix for this annoyance great; otherwise these are coming back!

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - SoapStone 831262-0020 review

The QuietComfort Earbuds are everything you’d expect from Bose but with a few knocks that hold them back from greatness. The earbuds have some of the most effective noise cancelling available, are super-comfortable and are a good-sounding easy listen – perfect for the extended periods of a flight or...

top noise cancelling that’s adjustable; Bluetooth 5.1 and AAC support; solid battery life; good sound; super-comfortable; sweat resistant.

expensive; large case; no seamless device switching or multi-device connections; only right earbud can be used on its own; limited on-device controls such as no volume; batteries not replaceable.

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - SoapStone 831262-0020 review

It’s Bose’s second attempt at a set of true wireless headphones, and the QuietComfort Earbuds are leaps and bounds better than the older SoundSport Free. Not only is the design a lot better, the noise cancellation is exemplary.

Best-in-class ANC; Rich; clear sound; Secure; comfortable fit; Wireless charging

Lacks on-board volume control; Bulky charging case; Case could offer more charge

Bose QuietComfort Earbuds - SoapStone 831262-0020 review

Bose took its sweet time making wireless earbuds with noise-cancellation. But the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds are finally available and, well, they're fantastic.
