Bose Portable Home Speaker - Luxe Silver 829393-5310 review
There’s a lot to like about the Bose Portable Home Speaker; it’s super smart, and its design blends functionality with minimalist chic. It may not sound quite as powerful as the Sonos Move, but it’s still a solid choice if you don’t want to sacrifice audio fidelity for portability.

- Choice of Alexa or Google Assistant
- Warm
- well-balanced sound
Cons:
- Bass lacking compared to Sonos Move
- Expensive

Bose Portable Home Speaker review: Sound significantly beyond its size
Glance at this speaker and you'll probably be left scratching your head as to why its asking price is so much for a small little thing. Switch it on, however, and the sensational audio will let you know in a heartbeat. It sounds big beyond its scale and is probably the only smart speaker you'll ever need buy.
Pros:
- Big sound and bass that sounds well beyond the product size
- Lots of connectivity - Airplay 2 / Wi-Fi / Bluetooth
- Genuinely portable - and decent 12hr battery life
Cons:
- It's rather pricey
- Struggles at its top volumes
- Not dynamic enough at lower volumes
