Borderlands 3 has been crafted from the ground up with fans of the series in mind. There is a mammoth amount of Easter Eggs and cameos from every single previous entry - even from Tales from the Borderlands ! The term love-letter to the fans is overused but it feels apt here.
Another Borderlands classic. The new action skill trees bring a welcome change to building your character. Playing four player with all characters can be a crazy experience with the explosions and skills going off everywhere you look. They’ve stepped up the guns again. Some people have complained of performance issues but mine has worked perfectly every time I’ve played. The antagonists aren’t as strong as Handsome Jack, but he was always going to be a hard act to follow. Thinking about buying this- Get it! In the immortal words of Claptrap: “The Vault Map is gone! Forever! It will never be found. Never, ever, ever! is what I'll say to everyone I know while I look for it.”
Having spent so much time with Borderlands 3, we can safely say that it is a blast from beginning to end. Yes, some of it can feel like a grind, with waves of similar-acting enemies around many corners, but pick up a new gun and combat feels fresh again.
Excellent story; Funny; Billions of crazy weapons to find; All loot in the game is free; Combat is tight; Co-op balancing is brilliant
Can feel like a grind at times; Some of the comedy doesn't quite hit the mark
Borderlands is all about guns, poop, and dick jokes, and you can look forward to a ton of all three of those things in Borderlands 3 . Where many series seek to innovate, Borderlands 3 delivers more of the same for better or worse.
Gameplay feels great; New secondary function on weapons adds a lot to gear versatility; Secondary characters are fun
Inventory system is atrocious; Tags
If you are a fan of the previous installments, you will love this game. Bigger, better, badder… More depth in the weapons, new enemy types, new locations (new planets!!!). And of course, once you've finished the main story line you can go right back to the start with the True Vault Hunter Mode (New Game Plus). Oh…and the graphics are a bit of a step up from the earlier games.
Game is rubbish now they have made the screen horizontal making it so your pop ups go onto the other person's screen while in play mode icons so small even on a 55 inch tv so you cannot read them capped it up into something that's nothing like the other 2 this was my favourite game not any more
Review co-written by Kosta Andreadis and Adrian Haas. Taken at face value Borderlands 3 is fun and a welcome return to the co-op action-RPG shooting of the series' roots. Wonderful guns, explosive screen-filling action, and a colourful palette of locales and enemies that continues to push the...
It might not be it in the grand scheme of things, but seven years feels like a very long time. To think, it was seven years ago when a surprising number of people seemingly believed a Mayan prophesy might end us all or that Cern's large hadron collider might open a black hole under everyone's feet.
Borderlands is an FPS RPG where its all about the loot. You get that loot by killing enemies and bosses with some pretty imaginative weapons. Enemies will lose limbs, get their head shot off, get electrocuted, get corroded, etc.
