Bulky, Not bad sound
If you're thinking hard whether to get this microphone due to the price then don't get it. It looks luxurious and is very easy to hook up but it's overkill for most people. I think it's too expensive for what you get.
Pros:
- Easy to set up
- Various microphone patterns for various situations
- On-microphone gain control
Cons:
- Bulky
- Sound is a little too "warm"
- No XLR or 3.5mm microphone out, only USB
- Expensive

Professional Quality at a Fraction of the Cost
Looking for a professional, high-quality microphone With multiple settings for different usage, I highly recommend the Blue Yeti.
Pros:
- Very High Audio Quality Easy to Set Up Multiple Settings
Cons:
- The Default Base Attempts to be Default Audio Playback Device

Brilliant! A heavy duty gadget with great sound recording quality!
I am often let down by purchasing items on the internet sight unseen. However, this purchase left me pleasantly surprised at the build quality. Such a large, heavy, solid gadget!

I do a lot of conference calls, web presentations, and demos all of which I run from my Mac or MacBook Pro. Plugged it in and that was it. It sounds great and is really easy to use. It's a little big on the desk, but then that's to be expected with a mic of this quality.

A Great Piece of Equipment
This is my second purchase of this product. The first was to setup a recording studio for a friend. Then I had to have my own. I already use Rode mics and Zoom recorders for my filming needs. But I use this Blue Microphone Yeti for in-house work and voice-overs. This is a great piece of equipment.

Does not work with iPhone or iPad
I had purchased this product based on the reviews that is it a great solution for iPhone and iPad recording using the camera adaptor. However it is no longer possible to use it for this as apple have restricted the power output of their devices with the upgrade to IOS 5, so this is completely...

Newest Mic, great with iPads
The Blue Microphones Spark Digital will work with both Mac computers and PC computers. It has a great frequency response that you can appreciate no matter what style of music you create.

Blue Microphones Yeti review
In the professional audio world, Blue Microphones is probably best known for the Bottle condenser microphone, which costs thousands of pounds, and the Baby Bottle, which merely costs several hundred.

Just freaking awesome!!
Got the Yeti a couple of days ago and connected it up to my Macbook pro running Lion and had no issues at all. I was recording in a couple of minutes of unboxing. Also works like a charm on my iPad 2 but does need a powered hub (I have a small Belkin one) to work.

Blue Microphones Yeti
Home studios can be very expensive to set up. They require space and money, with equipment like microphones easily costing four digits for pro-level gear. If you're not completely dedicated to your recording, it's likely prohibitive to put together a studio.
Pros:

Cons:
- Overbuilt stand makes mounting the microphone awkward
